The bridges that we are talking about in this film are like air bridges from South America to ports around the world for their cargo. This film deals with the history, people and manufacturing of products in South America. Doesn't get into interesting territory until the second half of the film, where they start eyeing those Amazon forests and chomp at the bit over how much land there is waiting to be grazed over and used. Pretty amazing!
